Verse 51A Self accomplished soul has no likes & dislikes, accepts everything as they encounter, contented from within, without a required motivation desire to go, achieve or attain. Such a person has an equanimous Motivation perspective, with no attraction or repulsion towards anyone or any circumstance.A realized individual is not drawn to anything outside of oneself, Evolution has no expectations, realizes that everything is momentary (anityam). It doesn’t mean one sad but is fulfilled, contented, equanimous & Happiness, like a goal or assignment lamp shining brightly within a kettle and no one may view from out, is referred as Jivan mukti. Verse 52As stated before, the realized soul isn’t affected by any scenario just like the space, specified often in upanishads, which can’t be tainted, axed, burnt, wet or dried. It’s the development understanding fantasies that the substratum alone is real and all forms & names are but looks without a definite existence of their own. When the butter is extracted, it stands aloof, does Motivation turns not blend back in the interconnected buttermilk, as well as the accomplished person is separate, neither attached nor affected by whatever, resides as a witness before the prarabdha karma ends.Verse 53 The human anatomy is a location, boga sthanam.Upon self understanding, the karmas are erased and the jivan dissolves to this One Supreme Presence, like the rivers merging into the sea, small flame awakens to the fire, the space inside the pot merging with the universal space, losing their name & shape.Sanjita, the accumulated consequences of past karmas and Agami, the seeds for the embarrassing next arrival, both have erased from the fire of Self Knowledge so there’s no rebirth for its accomplished jivan.Verse 54As that One Supreme cannot be pointed out, the next three verses are descriptive languages with adjectives. These are also known as’Tatastha Lakshanam’, meaning’in regards to’!Self Awareness is the most profound knowledge where there’s nothing else to gain, it is the absolute bliss, beyond which there is no other pleasure, complete profit, beyond which none to achieve.Verse 55This is quite much like the previous verse. The Supreme presence is that One, upon understanding which, there is nothing else to see (not available to bodily sensations ), or obtain any Knowledge leading to no rebirth for the individual, jivan. The benefit of realizing that One Supreme Brahman is that the elimination of fear. Fearless existence is your liberation from all shackles of life, it is the contentment. Upon realizing that it’s only a rope rather than a coiled snake, the fear goes off and therebywords and actions related to that fear also goes away, so this self knowledge eradicates all anxieties in the world. That Supreme is the personification of Happiness, parama sukam, incomparable Bliss.Verse 56This Supreme, all pervading presence is highlighted here to be here, there, North, South,East, West, up and down. This Supreme existence is contrasted to space within this verse as both are limitless, with no modifications, ever present, just one of a type but the distinct difference is that Supreme presence is Knowledge,Chit but not the space! Space doesn’t know it exists, it does not have that knowledge.Verse 57How do we understand that Supreme existence? Adi Sankara in this verse says only by way of Vedantic scriptures. By minding the shape, name and any modification, the body, Annamayya kosa is negated. Then by saying it is dormant negates the breath coating or Pranamaya kosa is negated, followed closely by the negation of their brain, the stream of mind the Manonmaya kosa, hence the subtle body is negated leading to the negation of the body, meaning with no impressions. This One existence with no second is infinite, One Complete Bliss!Verse 58That One Supreme presence which is complete and pervading One alone IS and is in all beings, all which appears to exist. The joy, pleasures that all these beings in the Deities into the second species, all united is but a glimpse of that One Supreme Bliss.Verse 59That One presence, called Atman, is in most appearances. We love another individual or being signifies the recognition of that existence because embodiment. Without that presence everything is inert.
